This is the most common form of meetup event. A single speaker presenting on their topic of expertise.
In general we recommend stories over theory, but it depends on the needs of the audience.
Once the speaker is selected, there is no special preparation required.
Follow the direction of the speaker. If there are no special requirements you can setup the room as a circle of chairs for smaller events with less than 20 people or rows of chairs (auditorium seating) for larger events.
Welcome the guests to the event. Take a few moments to introduce the speaker and their topic. Set expectations for the audience by sharing the expected duration of the talk and associated Q/A time.
Share any slides, photos, or videos from the event. Remember to invite them to join the Business Agility Institute.
