A key growth strategy of many businesses is Mergers and Acquisitions. Yet, despite the promise and extensive due diligence invested to ensure business, cost and revenue synergies, many M&As still fall short of creating the expected shareholder value. She has worked in a top-tier consulting firm and has experience in various industries such as Logistics, FMCG, Government, Real Estate and Resources. She works side-by-side with her clients to identify, metabolise transformation and unlock pockets of value to achieve outcomes and drive successful change across diverse transformation agenda pre- and post-merger.
Business agility is more than just a set of processes. It starts with the right mindsets and capabilities. How do you develop these agile mindsets and capabilities in a more agile way? I will speak about agility in terms of how we learn and how we develop others using data, analytics and technology. I will share how we can be more agile in our approach to people development to invest in the new currency – skills. It’s not just about knowledge and ‘sit down’ classrooms anymore as the future of work is no longer tied to specific jobs, but to skills which can’t be taught through just watching a video. We need to evolve not just what we learn, but how we learn.
